Mount Laurel Police Blotter

Police arrested two women for credit card fraud and drug possession and responded to incidences of criminal mischief and theft.

Aug. 18-19

Theft, overnight — A contractor working at Carlucci’s restaurant in the 800 block of Centerton Road told police someone stole two outdoor decorative lamps and a power saw, valued at $1,400. The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m., Aug. 18, and 6 a.m., Aug. 19.

Aug. 19

Arrest (credit card fraud) — Police arrested Clintisha H. Lewis, 20, of Brooklyn, N.Y., for credit card fraud after she attempted to use a fraudulent card to make a purchase at PC Richard and Son on Nixon Drive. She was also charged with possession of fraudulent documents and hindering arrest. She was placed in the Burlington County Jail after failing to post $10,000 bail.

Aug. 19-20

Burglary, overnight — Someone broke into the home of a resident on the 5000 block of Church Road by forcing open a door and stole $450 worth of power tools, according to police. The break-in occurred sometime between 5 p.m., Aug. 19, and 7:30 a.m., Aug. 20.

Aug. 19-20

Criminal mischief, overnight — An employee of the Mount Laurel School District reported damage to an electronic access point to the Larchmont School on Larchmont Boulevard. The incident occurred between 6:10 p.m., Aug. 19, and 9 a.m., Aug. 20, police said. The damage is estimated at $200.

Aug. 20

Arrest (drug possession), 3 p.m. — Police arrested 27-year-old Brielle L. Ferreira, of the 100 block of Carlton Avenue, Marlton, for possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested after patrols responded to the We Buy Gold on Church Road, police said. She was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in Burlington County Jail after failing to post $15,000 bail.

Aug. 20-21

Criminal mischief, overnight — Two pool umbrellas were damaged at the Larchmont Swim Club on the 200 block of Larchmont Boulevard, police said. The damage is estimated at $200. The incident occurred between 8 p.m., Aug. 20, and 9 a.m., Aug 21.
