Police make multiple arrests for robbery, including one man they say stole a 16-year-old's valuable sneaker collection.

Feb. 11

Arrest (robbery), 11:17 a.m. — Police arrested William DePena III, 23, of the 2600 block of South 11th Street, Philadelphia, after he robbed a 16-year-old of his valuable sneaker collection, according to a report. The victim, from Mount Laurel, arranged to meet DePena through Craigslist in order to sell him a sneaker collection valued at $1,600, police said. The victim got into DePena’s vehicle and they drove off. In the area of Marne Highway near the New Jersey Turnpike, DePena told the victim he was robbing him, claimed he had a gun and made the victim get out of the car, police said. Mount Laurel Police located DePena driving on Route 38 and arrested him. No weapons were found. DePena was charged with robbery and released after posting $17,500 bail.

Feb. 13

Arrest (robbery), 4:21 p.m. — Police arrested three 16-year-old township males after they used force to rob a clerk at the Lukoil on Route 38, according to a report. The three boys went behind the counter and stole cigars. All three were charged with robbery. One of the juveniles was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and another was charged with hindering for providing police with a false identity, the report said. All three were served with juvenile delinquency complaints and released to their parents.  

Feb. 14

Arrest (DWI), 3:17 a.m. — Police arrested Tina Stearn, 41, of the unit block of Meadowrue Drive, after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Ramblewood Parkway. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Criminal mischief (Ramblewood) — A resident of the 500 block of Charleston Court reported sometime between 9 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 10:10 a.m. Feb. 14 someone punctured two tires and scratched the hood of a vehicle, causing more than $2,000 in damage, police said.

Arrest (robbery) — Police arrested an 18-year-old township man for a robbery he allegedly committed as a juvenile. Police said he assaulted a 33-year-old companion on the Ramblewood Golf Course near Saint David Drive on Nov. 20, 2011 at 11:50 p.m. and stole his wallet and $300 cash. Juvenile delinquency complaints were issued and he was sent to the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Center.
