Police arrest two teenagers for drug possession and investigate the theft of Christmas decorations.

Dec. 13

Theft, 6 p.m.
— A customer at the Cracker Barrel on Route 73 told police her purse, valued at approximately $100, was stolen after she hung it on her chair while she dined. Later that night, $700 in fraudulent charges were made using her credit card, police said.

Criminal mischief (Stonegate) — A resident of the first block of Barton Way reported a strand of Christmas lights on his front lawn were damaged between 10 p.m. Dec. 12 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13. The damage is estimated at $20, according to police.

Dec. 13

Credit card theft/fraud, 10:20 a.m.-12:30 p.m. — Police said a customer at Panera Bread, 48 Centerton Road, had credit cards stolen from her purse while it was left unattended in the dining area of the restaurant. The cards were later used to make $475 worth of purchases at a nearby store.

Dec. 15

Arrest (DWI), 1:14 a.m. — Police arrested Kevin S. Bonham, 28, of the first block of Rockland Terrace, Lumberton, for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 38 and released on a summons pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Dec. 16

Shoplifting, 12 a.m. — The manager of the Wawa at 1115 Route 73 told police a male customer reached behind the counter and stole two packs of cigarettes valued at $12.

Arrest (underage consumption of alcohol) — Police arrested Kyle Weisberg, 19, of the first block of Farnwood Road, for underage consumption of alcohol. Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Krysta Court and came upon Weisberg and another person arguing. Weisberg was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Theft (Devonshire) — Numerous Christmas decorations, valued at $225, were stolen from the front lawn of a residence on the first block of Dickens Lane, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 9 a.m. Dec. 16.

Theft (Devonshire), 8 a.m.-9 p.m. — A resident of the first block of Lancelot Lane reported Christmas decorations, valued at $75, were taken from the front lawn of his residence, police said.

Burglary, 5:50-7:30 p.m. — Police said someone broke into a home on the first block of Stoney Hill Lane by forcing open a window and stole jewelry, valued at approximately $800.  

Juvenile arrest (shoplifting), 7:19 p.m. — Police arrested a 17-year-old Willingboro boy on for shoplifting $34.99 in alcohol from the Wegmans on Centerton Road. He was released to his parents pending a court hearing.

Juvenile arrests (drug possession), 9:30 p.m. — During an investigation into a loud party complaint on the 200 block of Wharton Road, police arrested a 16-year-old Mount Laurel resident for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Another 17-year-old township resident attempted to flee the investigating officers, but was arrested after a brief foot chase, according to a report. He was charged with obstruction, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and underage consumption of alcohol. Both were transported to police headquarters and released to their parents pending a court hearing.

Dec. 17

Arrest (drug possession), 11:40 a.m. — Police arrested Nicole G. Urso, 27, of the first block of West Azalea Lane, and Antonio Russo, 40, of the 300 block of Trescott Place, during an investigation into an activated burglar alarm at Urso’s residence, police said. Both Urso and Russo were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released pending a municipal court hearing.

Burglary (Laurelton) — Someone broke into a home on the first block of Jazz Way by forcing open a window and stole jewelry, valued at around $5,000, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Dec. 10 and 1 p.m. Dec. 17.

Criminal mischief (Saratoga Farms) — A resident of the 100 block of Preakness Drive reported sometime between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 17 someone broke a windshield wiper on his vehicle, causing approximately $100 in damage, police said.

Burglary (Ivy Ridge), 5-8 p.m. — Someone forced open a window to a residence on the first block of Innes Court and stole about $2,000 worth of jewelry, police said.

Dec. 19

Credit card fraud (Larchmont Estates) — A resident of the first block of Whitechapel Drive told police their credit card was taken between Dec. 13 and Dec. 19 and used to make several fraudulent purchases, totaling $251.12.

Arrest (criminal mischief), 11:18 a.m. — Police arrested Nicholas J. Mandarakas, 26, of the 800 block of Van Rossum Avenue, Edgewater Park for damaging a display case at the AT&T store on Fellowship Road. Damage is estimated at $100, police said. Mandarakas was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (drug possession) — Police arrested Craig P. Kennedy, 28, of the first block of Chestnut Street, Lumberton, after they responded to a report of a suspicious person in the Target parking lot at 4 Centerton Road. Kennedy was found in a vehicle in the parking lot and subsequently found to be in possession of heroin and paraphernalia, police said. He was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia and committed to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Arrest (receiving stolen property) — Police arrested Dimitrios G. Fotiou, 30, of the first block of Nassau Drive, Willingboro, and Jathiya J. Salaam, 30, of the first block of Ridgeview Drive, Willingboro, after they were located by officers in the Wawa parking lot at 720 Church St. in a vehicle previously reported stolen out of Burlington Township, according to a report. Both were charged with receiving stolen property. Fotiou was committed to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Salaam was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Dec. 20

Arrest (DWI), 7:14 p.m. — Police arrested Peter G. Riehman, 41, of the 100 block of Knotty Oak Drive, subsequent to a motor vehicle accident investigation. The accident occurred in the parking lot of Sally’s Beauty at 36 Centerton Road, according to police. Riehman was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
