Several arrests for driving under the influence, drug possession, shoplifting and underage drinking.

Aug. 24

Criminal mischief, 3-6 p.m. — A student at Burlington County College reported a vehicle was scratched, police said. Damage was estimated at $200.

Sept. 2

Arrest (DWI), 12:11 p.m. — Police arrested John Kij, 62, of the 600 block of Smithville Road, Southampton, for driving while intoxicated after he was stopped on Ark Road. He was released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Theft, 4:10 p.m. — An employee of the South Jersey Vascular Institute, on the 200 block of Century Parkway, reported a wallet valued at $30 was taken from the locker room.

Arrest (drug possession) — Police arrested Eczel Padilla, 27, of the 1200 block of Stokes Road, after he was observed in possession of property that had been reported stolen. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DUI), 11:13 p.m. — Police arrested John J. Ashton, 31, of the first block of Haines Mill Road, Delran, for driving under the influence of marijuana. He was stopped on Marne Highway, charged and released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Arrest (drug possession), 8:44 p.m. — Police arrested David Sutton, 21, of the 100 block of Lemmon Street, Pemberton, for possession of marijuana. Sutton was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on Willow Turn for a motor vehicle violation, police said. He was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Theft from vehicle (Devonshire) — A resident of the first block of Lancelot Lane reported cash and checks, valued at $2,000, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime between 8 p.m. Sept. 2 and 7 a.m. Sept. 3.

Theft from vehicle (Larchmont Estates) — A resident of the first block of Sheffield Lane reported to police a wallet and its contents, valued at around $50, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime between 12:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 3.

Burglary — Sometime between 1 p.m. Sept. 2 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 3 someone broke into a home on the first block of Farnwood Road and stole a laptop worth about $1,000, police said. Entry was gained through a rear window.

Sept. 4

Burglary, 10 a.m. — While investigating a burglary on the first block of Farnwood Road, police discovered a burglary to an adjacent residence. The burglar broke in by forcing open a side window, police said.

Criminal mischief — An employee of Jazzercise, located on the 400 block of Larchmont Boulevard, reported the store sign was damaged to the tune of $72, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 4 and 12 p.m. Sept. 5.

Arrest (DWI), 8:12 p.m. — Police arrested Wanda Carrasquillo, 33, of the 3700 block of Ninth Street, Philadelphia, for driving while intoxicated after she was stopped on Route 38. She was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Sept. 5

Arrest (underage consumption), 12:49 a.m. — Police arrested Dywane W. Bunting-George, 20, of the first block of Garland Lane, Willingboro, for underage consumption of alcohol and possession of alcoholic beverages after a vehicle he was riding in was stopped on Route 73. He was released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Arrest (prohibited possession of handcuffs), 12:49 a.m. — Police arrested Jaquise Barron, 22, of the first block of Garland Lane, Willingboro, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Marie B. Iliopoulos, 26, of the first block of Amboy Avenue, Roebling, for shoplifting $61.90 of merchandise from ShopRite on Nixon Drive. She was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Sept. 6

Theft from vehicle (Devonshire), 3-5 a.m. — A resident of the first block of Lancelot Lane told police cash, lottery tickets and an antique intravenous kit, valued at $230, were stolen from a vehicle. The thief got into the vehicle by breaking the window, police said.

Criminal mischief (Devonshire), 2-7 a.m. — A resident of the first block of Stratford Lane reported a vehicle’s window was broken, police said. Damaged is estimated at $150.
