Busted shoplifters, a gift card stolen from a mailbox and several other thefts.

Sept. 10

Theft — A resident of the first block of Devonshire Court told police a gift card was taken from a piece of mail in their mailbox. The theft occurred sometime between 9 a.m. Sept. 10 and 4:47 p.m. Sept. 15, police said. The gift card was worth $25.

Sept. 14

Theft — Police said someone stole an iPod, worth $250, from a parked vehicle on the first block of Eddlewood Place at The Lakes. The incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. Sept. 14 and 6 p.m. Sept. 15. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle, police said.

Sept. 17

Criminal mischief — A resident of the 100 block of Hartford Road told police someone tampered with their vehicle’s exhaust and fuel tank sometime between 12:55 a.m. Sept. 17 and 12 p.m. Sept. 20. Police said damage is estimated at $2,000.

Sept. 25

Arrest (drug possession), 11:14 a.m. — Police arrested Michael J. Palombo, 47, of the first block of Wisteria Court, for possession of cocaine after he was stopped on Wisteria Court for driving erratically. He was charged with possession of cocaine, police said, and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Sept. 26

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Julie Wylie, 42, of the 2500 block of Broad Street, Philadelphia, for shoplifting $79.99 in shoes from T.J.Maxx on Centerton Road. She was released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Sept. 27

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Darren T. Mays, 34, of the first block of Echo Hill Lane, Willingboro, for shoplifting $107.36 in merchandise from ShopRite on Nixon Drive. Mays was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of bail, police said.

Theft, 7-8 p.m. — A member of the YMCA on Centerton Road told police her wallet and its contents, valued at $56, were stolen from her purse when it was left unattended at the running track.
