Police make several arrests for shoplifting and DWI.

Sept. 17

Theft, 1:15 p.m. — A customer at 7-Eleven reported an iPhone stolen, police said. The phone is valued at $600.

Arrests (shoplifting) — Police arrested Megan D. Parson, 27, of the 1900 block of Lakeview Road, Wilmington, DE, Rashanda C. Miller, 28, of the 800 block of Fifth Street, Wilmington, DE, and Marketta Christie, 18, of the 2700 block of N. West St., Wilmington, DE, for shoplifting $231.91 worth of merchandise from the T.J.Maxx on Centerton Road. All three were released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Criminal trespass to vehicles — Several residents of the Hunters Crossing development reported criminal trespasses to their vehicles occurring sometime between 12 p.m. Sept. 17 and 7:15 p.m. Sept. 18. The contents of the vehicles were in disarray, police said, but nothing was reported stolen. All of the involved vehicles were unlocked.

Theft from vehicle — A resident of the 600 block of Orchard Court told police a laptop computer, valued at $900, was stolen from their vehicle sometime between 4 p.m. Sept. 17 and 4 p.m. Sept. 18. The vehicle was unlocked, police said.

Sept. 18

Arrest (DWI), 11:34 p.m. — Police arrested Scott R. Megill, 26, of the first block of Sunset Drive, Mount Holly, after he was stopped on Route 38. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Sept. 22

Arrest (DWI), 3:52 p.m. — Police arrested Fayez A. Amhaz, 48, of the first block of West Jackson Court, Marlton, after he was stopped in Laurel Acres Park. Amhaz was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said, and released on a summons pending a municipal court hearing.

Theft — Someone stole 150 gallons of diesel fuel, valued at $600, from a tractor trailer parked at the Super 8 Hotel on Fellowship Road, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 2 p.m. Sept. 22 and 1:58 a.m. Sept. 23.
