Police arrest a woman for showing up to court with pot, a man gets into a disturbing confrontation in a bank parking lot, and police make several other arrests.

Nov. 20

Credit card fraud (Holiday Village East) — A resident of the first block of South Peppergrass Drive told police an unauthorized purchase, in the amount of $27.92, was made using their credit card at an out-of-state location.

Nov. 21

Theft from vehicle (Longwood) — A resident of the first block of East Coach Lane told police sometime between 11 p.m. Nov. 20 and 7 a.m. Nov. 21 someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole cigarettes and change, valued at approximately $10, according to a report.

Theft, 9 a.m. — A Maple Shade Township resident told police their wallet and its contents were taken from the Wawa on the 3700 block of Church Road. The wallet and contents were valued at approximately $10.

Nov. 22

Criminal mischief (Rancocas Point) — A resident of the first block of Crow’s Nest Court told police someone dented one of the doors on their vehicle. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. Nov. 21, and 2 a.m. Nov. 22, police said. Damage is estimated at an undetermined amount.

Arrest (receiving stolen property) — Police arrested Brandi L. Albano, 20, of the 800 block of Millbridge Apartments, Clementon, Phillip L. Hersey, 46, of the 800 block of North Main Street, Williamstown, and William Watley, 42, of 1070 Coles Road, Williamstown, after officers stopped the vehicle the three were riding in on Route 73 after identifying it as stolen, according to a report. Albano was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering. She was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $17,500 bail. Hersey was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $12,500 bail. Watley was arrested for an outstanding warrant and released on his own recognizance, police said.

Theft from vehicle — Wheels and tires, worth approximately $14,642.32, were stolen from six new Mini Coopers at the Mini Cooper dealership on Route 73 in Mount Laurel, police said. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. Nov. 21 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 22. Damage is estimated at $3.500.

Arrest (drug possession) — Police arrested Juliana Meo, 24, of the first block of East Central Avenue, Blue Anchor, after she was found to be in possession of marijuana during a security check at the entrance to Mount Laurel Court, according to a report. Meo was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and released pending a municipal court hearing.  

Arrest (obstruction) — Police arrested Lawrence Aitken, 51, of the 180 block of Ramblewood Parkway, for obstruction. Aitken is accused of obstructing police and emergency service personnel during their response to a motor vehicle accident, according to a report. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Nov. 25

Credit card fraud, 3:15-3:45 a.m. — A Sicklerville resident told police a fraudulent purchase of $954 was made using their credit card information on Black Friday at Best Buy on Nixon Drive.

Criminal mischief (Essex Place), 10:25 a.m. — Someone damaged the hood of a vehicle belonging to a resident of the 3900 block of Greenwich Way, according to police. Damage is estimated at $800.

Arrest (DWI), 11:45 p.m. — Police arrested Alan Vandenarend, 23, of the 500 block of Quail Ridge Road, Plainsboro, after he was stopped on Country Club Parkway. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.  

Nov. 26

Criminal mischief — A Maple Shade resident told police someone graffitied a trailer parked at Route 73 and Interstate 295 sometime between 1:15 p.m. Nov. 25 and 1:15 p.m. Nov. 26. Damage is estimated at $50.

Theft, 6:22 p.m. — Police said a person driving a green pick-up truck filled their vehicle with $114 worth of gas and drove off without paying at the Lukoil station on Route 38.

Nov. 27

Arrest (DWI), 3:45 a.m. — Police arrested Richard A. Georges, 45, of the first block of Sheffield Place, Southampton, on November 27, for driving while intoxicated after he was stopped on Route 38. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.  

Credit card fraud, 2 p.m. — A Marlton resident reported the theft of three credit cards at Panera Bread on Centerton Road. One of the cards was later used to make an unauthorized purchase of $1,482 at the Best Buy on Nixon Drive, police said.

Shoplifting, 9:21 p.m. — Someone stole $100 worth of cigarettes from behind the cashier’s counter at the Wawa on Route 73, police said. The suspect fled the store and could not be located.

Nov. 28

Criminal mischief, 9:20 p.m. — A resident of the 200 block of Hooton Road reported a window was broken on their vehicle, causing $200 of damage, police said.

Nov. 29

Criminal mischief (Union Mill Estates), 2:46 a.m. — A rock was thrown through a window of a home on the first block of Watson Drive, police said. Damage is estimated at $400.

Attempted burglary, 7:50 a.m. — Someone tried to force their way into a home on the 400 block of Mount Laurel Road through the front door, police said. No entry was gained. Damage is estimated at $50.

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Brittany Musa, 24, of the first block of Katherine Avenue, Cherry Hill, for shoplifting $208 worth of merchandise from Costco on Centerton Road, according to a report. She was released pending a municipal court hearing.  

Criminal mischief, 7-8:15 p.m. — An Evesham Township resident reported their car window was broken when the vehicle was parked at Jets Gymnastics on Roland Avenue. Damage is estimated at $350, police said.

Nov. 30

Shoplifting, 10 a.m. — Someone shoplifted $120 worth of clothing from the Cracker Barrel on Route 73, police said.

Criminal mischief, 6:20 p.m. — A Lumberton resident told police he got into an argument with an unknown man in the parking lot of the Bank of America Plaza on Route 38. During the dispute, the suspect implied he had a weapon and broke a window on the victim’s vehicle, police said. The suspect was described as a short black man with dreadlocks, wearing all black clothing. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $400.  

Dec. 1

Theft, 6 a.m. — An employee of the Wawa on Route 73 reported a customer drove off without paying for $40 worth of gasoline. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver Honda or Hyundai, police said.

Criminal mischief (Bridlewood) — A resident of the first block of Autumnwood Lane reported that two of his vehicles were damaged between 7 p.m. Nov. 30, and 9:23 a.m. Dec. 1. The rear window of each vehicle was broken, police said, causing approximately $1,000 in damage.

Arrest (trespassing), 2:52 p.m. — Mount Laurel Police arrested Nicholas R. Albers, 23, of the 700 block of Southeast Maple Street, Hillsboro, Oregon, for trespassing. He was arrested at the Candlewood Suites on Crawford Place after police said he caused a disturbance and refused numerous requests to leave. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.  

Arrest (drug possession), 4:48 p.m. — Police arrested two juveniles from Mount Laurel and one juvenile from Mount Holly for possession of marijuana. They were arrested subsequent to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Bolz Court. Each juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. They were released to their parents pending a court hearing.

Dec. 2

Arrest (DWI), 2:16 a.m. — Police arrested Victoria Sylvanus, 30, of the 2500 block of Auburn Street, Philadelphia, after she was stopped on Route 73 for a motor vehicle violation. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
