Mt. Laurel Police Blotter: Pizza Deliveryman Robbed at Knifepoint

Mount Laurel Police also arrest a man for stealing $8,700 in lottery tickets and a woman who resisted on a DWI arrest.

March 7

Arrest (theft), 2:30 p.m. — Police arrested Luis O. Del Valle, 33, of the unit block of West Monroe Street, Mount Holly, for stealing more than $8,700 in lottery tickets from the Exxon station on Route 38 and Ark Road in February, according to a report. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (obstruction), 4:19 p.m. — Police arrested Edward A. Sineni III, 18, of the 100 block of Cobblestone Drive, for obstruction and underage consumption of alcohol during a trespassing investigation at a residence on Cobblestone Drive, according to a report. Sineni was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Burglary (Innisfree), 1-6 p.m. — Someone stole jewelry and credit cards, valued at an undetermined amount, from a home on the unit block of Southgate Drive, police said. Force was not used to gain entry to the residence.

March 8

Arrest (DWI), 3:15 a.m. — Police arrested Michael V. Lyons, 31, of the unit block of Lamplighter Lane, Shamong, after stopping him for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

Criminal mischief (The Grande) — A resident of the unit block of Foxcroft Way reported sometime between 9 p.m. March 7 and 7 a.m. March 8 someone removed a fog lamp cover, valued at $100, and damaged a bumper on her vehicle, causing $500 damage.

Theft from a vehicle (Saratoga Farms) — Police said unknown suspects stole $100 from a purse inside an unlocked vehicle parked in an open garage on the 100 block of Preakness Drive. The incident occurred between 9:45 p.m. March 7 and 6:30 a.m. March 8.

March 9

Arrest (DWI, resisting arrest, criminal mischief), 9:25 a.m. — Police arrested Adrean A. Sierra, 31, of the unit block of Sternlight Drive, during an investigation into a report of erratic driving in the ShopRite parking lot on Nixon Drive. Sierra resisted arrest while being taken into custody and damaged a patrol vehicle, police said. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (shoplifting, resisting arrest), 9:25 a.m. — Police arrested Sean R. Jones, 26, of the 8400 block of Balfour Road, Pennsauken, for stealing approximately $12 in cigarettes from the Wine Legend liquor store on Church Street, according to a report. He fled the scene and resisted arrest when being taken into custody. He was released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.

March 10

Arrest (DWI), 3:08 a.m. — Police arrested Robert F. Schuster, 59, of the 5600 block of Redhaven Drive, Marlton, for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Nixon Drive, police said, and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Robbery (Innisfree), 8:30 p.m. — A delivery driver for Angelo’s Pizza was robbed at knifepoint, police said. The driver was making a delivery to a residence on Farnwood Road when a man wearing a ski mask pulled a knife  and demanded money. The victim told police the suspect took approximately $300 cash and fled the area on foot. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches, wearing a heavy dark jacket and dark pants. The victim was not injured, police said.

March 11

Criminal mischief (Stonegate) — Police said someone scratched a vehicle on the 1600 block of Stokes Road sometime between 6 p.m. March 10 and 7:30 p.m. March 11, causing approximately $2,000 damage.

March 12

Burglary — A resident of the 200 block of Mount Laurel Road reported a barn was burglarized sometime between March 7 and 8 a.m. March 12. Police said the suspect(s) broke into the barn and smashed the window of a vehicle parked inside, causing an estimated $100 damage.

March 13  

Arrest (drug possession), 1:01 p.m. — Police arrested Jay Snoke, 43, of the 500 block of Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, during an investigation on the 100 block of Waverly Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and sent to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
