Mt. Laurel Police Make Pot Arrests, Search for Shoplifters

Oct. 22
Theft from vehicle (Bishops Gate), 7:40 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. — Someone stole a GPS and a power converter—total value approximately $325—from a Comcast vehicle parked in a lot on Bishops Gate Boulevard, according to police.
Oct. 23
Arrest (possession of marijuana), 4:45 p.m. — Police arrested Michael M. Celestin, 20, of the 100 block of Sandhurst Drive; Shonda N. Adams, 19, of the 300 block of Carlton Lane; and Capri N. Fala, 18, of the 1200 block of Crofton Court, after they were stopped on Teddington Way for a motor vehicle violation, according to police. They were each charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Shoplifting, 6 p.m. — Two unidentified men stole $974 worth of merchandise from the Home Depot on Nixon Drive, police said. The first suspect is described as a black man with dark hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath. The second suspect is described as a heavyset black man, wearing a white shirt with black pants and purple sneakers. Police said they fled the area in a white van.
