Mt. Laurel Police Nab Alleged Attempted Burglars

Mount Laurel Police arrested a man and woman for trying to break into a home last week.
Police said Amanda R. Guarneri, 21, of the 800 block of Lafayette Drive, Mount Laurel, and Justin J. Trewin, 27, of the 2400 block of Acorn Drive, Atco, smashed the back window of an unoccupied residence on the 700 block of Cornwallis Drive. They fled before officers arrived, but were apprehended a short distance from the scene, according to a report.
Trewin was charged with attempted burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and criminal mischief and placed in Burlington County Jail on $30,000 bail. Guarneri was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and released pending a municipal court hearing.
