Mugger Assaults, Robs Township Man, Police Say

Mount Laurel Police are looking for information in order to catch the suspect.

A township man was repeatedly punched in the face and mugged late Sunday, according to police. 

Mount Laurel Police said a resident of the 100 block of Ramblewood Parkway was assaulted near the 200 block of Willow Turn around 11:43 p.m. Sunday. The victim told police he was struck in the face several times by a light-skinned black man wearing a red hoodie, described to be in his early 20s. The mugger ordered the man to the ground and took his wallet and cell phone, valued at $400, police said.

The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
