Murder Trial for Marlton Man Charged in Pennsylvania Woman's Death Starts Monday
Michael Morrone was convicted in 2010 for assault; he now faces murder charges in conjunction with Christine McGhee's death.

A Marlton man accused of killing a Warminster, Pa. woman after at hit-and-run at Kutztown University in 2008 will head to trial Monday in Berks County on murder charges.
Michael Morrone was convicted in 2010 for simple and aggravated assault and related offenses. He was sentenced to five to 20 years in prison. His trial set to begin next week will decide if he is guilty of third-degree murder.

Christine McGhee, a graphic design major at Kutztown University, died at the age of 23 in 2012, almost four years after sustaining injuries as a result of a hit and run. Morrone dragged McGhee as much as 100 feet with his car in a parking lot at Kutztown University after an argument, authorities say.
The incident caused debilitating trauma to McGhee's brain and body. The former soccer player could no longer walk or speak, and she was cared for by her parents, Dawn and James McGhee III, at their Warminster home until her death in March 2012.
