GPS and radar detectors stolen.

Moorestown Police continue to receive reports of vehicle burglaries, primarily to unlocked vehicles, throughout the township. Residents are urged to keep their vehicles locked. Do not leave electronics such as radar detectors, GPS units and laptops in plain view. If you hear or see anything suspicious, please call the police at 911 immediately.

Feb. 12

A resident of Oakmont Drive reported an occupied white, two-door sedan was parked across the street at 2:10 a.m. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

A resident of North Lincoln Avenue reported that their unlocked vehicle was burglarized and a GPS unit was stolen.

A resident of Harding Avenue reported that radar detectors were stolen from their two unlocked vehicles.

Feb. 11

A resident of North Demarest Road said a brown-haired, white male, medium build, under 6-feet tall, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans was looking into their mailbox. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the man.

Feb. 8

A house under construction on Salem Road was burglarized sometime within the past two weeks and copper piping stolen.

Feb. 7

A house under construction on Reganhard Avenue was burglarized. Entry was gained by breaking a basement window.

Feb. 4

A resident of Pleasant Valley Avenue reported a black Ford Explorer driving around the area at 12:12 p.m. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

A woman reported that her credit cards were stolen from her purse while she was eating at Panera Bread on Nixon Drive. The cards were used at various locations.

A resident of Palmer Drive reported several subjects were in the area looking into a parked vehicle. Officers check the area but were unable to locate the subjects.
