Police Blotter: Drive-by Egging, Shooting

Moorestown Police filed the following incident reports for Aug. 1-4.

  • On Aug. 04 at 9:37, a woman reported that while she was standing on the sidewalk at the Moorestown Mall, a male passenger in a silver Jeep threw an egg at her. Patrols checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle.

 

  • On August 2 at 3:17 p.m., a pedestrian on the 500 block of Kings Highway said she was shot by what she believed to be a BB. She believed the shot came from a passing vehicle, described as a mid-1980s large four-door vehicle occupied by two males.

 

  • On Aug. 1 at 9:18 a.m., a resident of Mt. Laurel Road reported that a man was banging on the front door and asking if anyone was home. The man got into a red Toyota pickup truck and left. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the man or his vehicle.

  • On Aug. 1 at 2:17 p.m., a resident of North Riding Drive reported that someone had entered her vehicle and opened the glove box. Nothing was missing, and the resident was unsure when the burglary occurred.
