Police Blotter: Encounters with Suspicious People

The Moorestown Police Department filed the following incident reports for June 24-26.

• On June 24 at 7:53 p.m., a Claypoole Avenue resident reported his wheelbarrow and spreader stolen. The only problem? The crime timeframe can only be narrowed down to sometime between December 2010 and June.

• On June 24 at 8:47 p.m., a New Albany Road resident reported a suspicious encounter. Police said was out jogging when a man in his 20s driving a blue vehicle approached. He asked her several “strange questions,” police said, and left.

• On June 25 at 9:10 a.m., a Haines Drive resident reported that two men approached her children, asking if their dad was at home. According to police, one of the men was wearing tan short and a tank top, and the other was wearing a white shirt.

• On June 25 at 11:35 a.m., an East Oak Avenue resident reported her mountain bike stolen from the front yard at some point the previous night.

• On June 26 at 7:50 p.m., a Park Lane resident told police his wallet was stolen was dining out on Main Street. The victim had left the wallet on the counter of the waiting area.
