Burglary — Approximately $500 worth of power tools were stolen from an unlocked shed on the unit block of Saddle Drive between 12 p.m. Aug. 25 and 12:53 p.m. Aug. 31, police said.
Arrest (DWI/marijuana possession), 11:54 p.m. — Police arrested Humberto Flores, 25, of the 3300 block of Federal Street, Camden, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Fellowship Road, according to a report. Flores was charged with driving while intoxicated, and a passenger in the vehicle, Andres Santos, 23, of the 3300 block of Highland Avenue, Camden, was also arrested for possession of marijuana, police said. Both men were released pending a court hearing.
Arrest (possession of marijuana), 1:45 a.m. — Police arrested Derek R. Defilippo, 36, of the 300 block of Spring Street, Bethlehem, PA, during an investigation into a fight at the Double Tree Hotel, 515 Fellowship Road, according to a report. Defilippo was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Theft from a vehicle (Ramblewood Apartments) — Three tires and rims, valued at $3,000, were stolen from a vehicle parked in the area of 600 Country Club Parkway, police said. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. Aug. 31 and 6:31 a.m. Sept. 1.
Theft, 11:09 a.m. — Someone pumped $80 worth of gas at the Lukoil on Route 73 and drove off without paying for it, police said.
Theft from vehicle (Laurel Creek) — Police said a spare wheel, valued at about $500, was stolen off the back gate of a Jeep on the 1800 block of Yarmouth Lane sometime between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 31 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 1.
Arrest (shoplifting), 4 p.m. — Police arrested Richard A. Spare, 25, of the unit block of Silverwood Drive, Delran, for shoplifting $357.59 merchandise from Wegmans on Centerton Road, according to a report. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail on $3,500 bail.
Arrest (DWI), 12:40 a.m. — Police arrested Richard K. Bartlett, 46, of the unit block of Arden Lane, Eastampton, after stopping him on Route 38 for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. Bartlett was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Robbery, 1:56 a.m. — Two female guests at the Red Roof Inn on Fellowship Road told police they had arranged to meet a man at their hotel room, but when a man arrived at the room he was wearing a mask and gloves and brandishing a handgun. The man demanded money and the women gave him an undetermined amount of cash before he fled the area on foot, police said. He was described as a black male wearing dark clothing.
Motor vehicle collision, 3:33 a.m. — Police said Demetrius Banks, 36, of the first block of Nanticoke Court, Evesham, was driving eastbound on Church Road when he lost control of his Chevy Lumina and crashed into a tree at the intersection with Preamble Drive. Banks was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden by Mount Laurel EMS. Police are investigating the crash and anyone with information is asked to contact the Mount Laurel Police Traffic Bureau at 856-234-1414, ext. 1565.
Theft (Holiday Village East) — A watch, valued at $1,000, was stolen from a residence on the 900 block of North Larkspur Place between 10 p.m. Aug. 28 and 12:11 p.m. Sept. 2, according to police. There was no sign of forced entry.
Arrest (shoplifting), 3:48 p.m. — Police arrested Gail P. Feinstein, 66, of the 3000 block of West Chapel Avenue, Cherry Hill, for allegedly shoplifting $67.25 in merchandise from the ShopRite on Nixon Drive, according to a report. She was released pending a municipal court hearing.
Juvenile arrest (possession of marijuana/obstruction), 6:35 p.m. — A juvenile from Cinnaminson was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) during a narcotics investigation at the baseball field behind the 500 block of Willow Turn, according to police. The juvenile was also charged with obstruction after he ran from the arresting officer. He was released to a parent pending a court hearing.
Arrest (possession of marijuana), 9:41 p.m. — Police arrested Guvera M. Walton, 23, of the 400 block of Shetland Road, Darby, PA, during the investigation of a narcotics complaint at the Double Tree Hotel on Fellowship Road, according to a report. Walton was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Attempted robbery, 4:36 a.m. — Two would-be robbers tried to stick up an employee at the Shell station on Route 38, but were scared off after the attendant started screaming at them, police said. One of the suspects was brandishing a handgun, according to a report. No proceeds were taken and no one was injured. Both suspects were described as light-skinned black men, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, medium build, wearing dark clothing.
Theft — Police said a thief stole four wheels, worth $3,000, off a Toyota 4Runner at the Holman Toyota on Route 73, damaging the vehicle’s running boards in the process. The damage is estimated at $800. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 1 and 10 a.m. Sept. 3, police said.
Criminal mischief — Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked at 200 Country Club Parkway, causing $200 damage, sometime between Aug. 31 and 10:58 a.m. Sept. 3, police said.
Arrest (drug possession), 5:48 p.m. — Police arrested Larry F. Hall, 36, of the 3000 block of Poppy Drive, Philadelphia, and John Calvano, 33, of the 9000 block of Cambridge Street, Philadelphia, during a motor vehicle stop on Route 73. Hall was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Calvano was arrested on an outstanding warrant and found to be in possession of cocaine. He was charged with possession of cocaine and released after posting $2,000 bail. Hall was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Theft from vehicle — A thief stole golf clubs, miscellaneous items and cash—all valued at approximately $1,600—from two unlocked vehicles parked outside a residence on the 200 block of Amberfield Drive, police said. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 3 and 7:55 a.m. Sept. 4.
Theft — Police said $15,000 worth of jewelry and other items were stolen from a home on the unit block of Holly Cove sometime between Aug. 20 and 11:22 a.m. Aug. 25. There was no sign of forced entry, according to police.
Stolen vehicle, 4-8:56 p.m. — Someone stole a 1986 Ford F-150, valued at $2,500, from the Best Buy parking lot while the owner was inside shopping, police said.
