Police Investigate Car Thefts at Moorestown Mall

Moorestown Police say at least four Honda Civics have been stolen from the area in and around the mall in the last two months.

If you drive a '90s Honda Civic, you might want to think about parking it somewhere other than the Moorestown Mall when you're doing your Christmas shopping.

Moorestown Police say in the last couple months, at least four Civics have been stolen from outside the mall and the adjacent shopping centers, including one on Sunday afternoon.

A Marlton resident told police his red 1992 Honda Civic two-door was stolen from the parking lot between Elevation Burger and Boscov's between 3-4 p.m. Sunday. Police did not know the value of the vehicle at the time the incident was reported.

Moorestown Police Sgt. Lee Lieber said the Civics are a popular target for thieves from Camden and Philadelphia, who use or sell the parts.

Anyone with information should contact police at 856-235-1405.
