Police Investigate Sunday Morning Stabbing in Maple Shade

One of the victims is listed in critical but stable condition. The other victim has been treated and released. Neither were identified.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and the Maple Shade Police Department are investigating the stabbing of two unidentified victims that took place in Maple Shade Sunday morning.

Maple Shade police were called to the area of Fox Meadow Drive and Hancock Drive just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning. They discovered two male victims on the ground with multiple stab wounds.

The victims were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. One of the victims, age 27, was admitted with wounds to his abdomen, neck and face. He is listed in critical but stable condition. The other victim, age 31, was treated and released for a wound to his lower abdomen.

According to the Burlington County Times, police have at least one person in custody in relation to the stabbing. Officials didn't state if they had anyone in custody, and said no further information would be released Sunday night.

The names of the victims are not being released at this point.
