Police Investigate Pair of Burglaries at Arbors Apartments

Also, Maple Shade Police arrest a Moorestown man for stealing steaks and a Jersey City man on drug paraphernalia charges.

Sept. 14

Burglary, 7:54 p.m. — Someone cut the kitchen window screen of an apartment at the Arbors “A” building, entered the residence and stole the victim’s rent money ($500 cash), a tan lockbox containing $60 cash and numerous identification papers and birth certificates, an Arnova model 8G3 tablet (valued at $129), and a Metro PCS cell phone (valued at $100), police said.

Burglary, 11:08 p.m. — A burglar entered an apartment in the Arbors “B” building through the bedroom window and stole a 32-inch Sanyo flat-screen LCD TV, model DP32642, valued at $350, according to police.

Sept. 16

Arrest (possession of drug paraphernalia), 8:46 p.m. — Police arrested Ivan Juarez, 27, of Jersey City, after responding to a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Route 73 North at the Route 38 ramp. According to a report, a quick investigation led to Juarez’s arrest after police discovered a glass marijuana bowl in his car. He was released on a summons pending a court hearing.

Sept. 17

Shoplifting, 11:48 a.m. — Police said John F. Denshuick, 65, of Moorestown, concealed several packages of steaks from Acme under his clothes and left the store with them. He was charged with shoplifting and issued a summons to appear in court.
