Police Investigate Stabbing in Chesterfield

The stabbing took place at the victim's home at 8:30 a.m.

The Chesterfield Township Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that took place Tuesday morning at approximately 8:30 am on Galestown Road in Chesterfield.

The victim arrived back home after dropping off his children at the bus stop. Upon arrival he was confronted by a subject in his garage. During the confrontation the suspect stabbed the victim in the abdomen. The suspect then left on foot unknown direction of travel.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male approximately 5’10 160 lbs. with a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

The victim was transported to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center. He is listed in stable condition with non-life threatening stab wound.

Officers from Chesterfield, along with assistance from Bordentown Township along with their K-9 and two K-9 units from Pemberton Township searched the area with negative results.
