Police Investigate Vehicle Break-Ins

Maple Shade Police say a Ford truck was stolen from County Avenue last week.

Jan. 28

Vehicle theft, 6:08 p.m. — Someone stole a 2006 Ford 250, New Jersey tags G85BWP, from County Avenue near Pine Avenue sometime between 1 and 6 p.m., police said. Broken glass and a piece of door trim on the ground indicated that the window may have been broken to gain entry.

Jan. 29

Theft, 12:34 p.m. — Police said a 24-foot ladder, valued at approximately $200, and aluminum siding brake, valued at $1,000, were stolen from the backyard of a home on the unit block of East Mill Road.

Theft from vehicle, 7:03 p.m. — Police said someone stole a purse—containing approximately $2, a silver wristlet and various ID and credit cards—from a 2012 GMC Acadia.

Theft from vehicle, 8:11 p.m. — Someone smashed the passenger side window of a 2002 Dodge Caravan parked at TNT Gymnastics and stole a gray Hobo purse, with about $20 and various credit cards and ID inside, along with an iPod Touch, police said.

Jan. 30

Theft, 9:42 a.m. — Someone stole copper pipes from the basement of a home on the 500 block of Sunset Avenue, police said.
