Police: Jewelry Missing Valued at $4K
Also, police make arrests for driving while intoxicated.
April 4
Burglary (Hunter’s Crossing), 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. — Someone entered a residence through an unlocked door in the 200 block of Meadow Drive and stole jewelry valued at $4,000.

April 5
Burglary (Penn Oak) — A real estate agent for a residence on the 500 block of Cambridge Drive reported a burglary and criminal mischief. The investigation revealed that someone forced entry into the residence and turned on several faucets throughout the house causing water to overflow. Damage is estimated $50,000.

April 6
Arrest DWI, 11 p.m. — Police arrested Albert A. Rocha, 75, of the 100 block of Malvern Court for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested during the investigation of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Route 38 and Larchmont Boulevard. He was served with complaints and released pending a court hearing.
Arrest DWI, 1:57 a.m. — Police arrested Adam M. Ponce, 28, of the 2000 block of Larchmont Place for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Larchmont Place. He was served with complaints and released pending a court hearing.
April 8
Burglary (Mill Run), 8:30 p.m. April 7 to 12:20 a.m. April 8. Someone broke a window of a residence in the 300 block of St. Clair Court and stole jewelry valued at $3,400.
April 9
Theft — Someone stole an iPad valued at $499 from an apartment on the unit block of Holly Cove on March 29. The victim stated that a moving company had been in his apartment that morning packing his belongings. There were no signs of forced entry.
Theft — The owner of a vacant property on the 3000 block of Springdale Road reported scrap metal stolen from the property between April 6 and April 9. The metal was stored in an unsecured area and is valued at $200.
