Police Make a Number of DWI Arrests

Also, prostitution and a multitude of theft charges were filed.

June 13

Theft (The Lakes) - A resident of the unit block of Knighton Lane reported a theft. Jewelry valued at $15,000 was taken from a residence. The incident occurred between May 27 and 5:30 p.m. June 13. There was no sign of forced entry to the residence.

Arrest (DWI), 11:32 a.m. - Police arrested Gary P. Sullivan, 61, of the 100 block of Glenbrook Boulevard, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Church Road. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

June 14

Juvenile arrest, 12:16 a.m. - Police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile male from Mount Laurel for possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was arrested after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Hainesport Road. He was turned over to his parents.

Arrest (Robbery) - Police arrested Jeffrey C.Werner, 29, of the unit block of Skyline Drive, Sicklerville, for robbery. Werner was arrested after he used physical force against Home Depot lost prevention officers while attempting to steal $235.93 worth of merchandise. Werner was committed to the Burlington County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Arrest (CDS), 12:44 p.m. - Police arrested Stephen N. Atkins, 24, of the 1300 block of Haddon Avenue, Camden, and Briana Hawkins, 23, of the unit block of Willow Cedar Way, Blackwood, for possession of marijuana under 50 grams. The two were arrested at a hotel on the 600 block of Fellowship Road. Both were served criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DWI), 9:55 p.m. - Police arrested Joanne Richichi, 54, of the 100 block of Hickory Court, Mullica Hill, for driving while intoxicated. She was arrested during the investigation of a motor vehicle collision on Route 73 at Church Road. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (Prostitution), 1:45 p.m. - Police arrested Joseph C.Wilson, 20, of the 5200 block of Arlington Street, Philadelphia, and Leroy J. Hummel Jr., 47, of the unit block of Sandal Lane, Willingboro, for engaging in prostitution. They were arrested during an investigation into suspicious activity in the area of the Knights Inn on Route 73. They were both served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

June 15

Theft, 11:50 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. - A customer of Panera Bread on Centerton Road reported a wallet and its contents valued at approximately $70 were taken from a pocketbook that was hanging on a chair while the victim ate lunch.

Arrest (Shoplifting), - Police arrested Teresa A. Joyce, 54, of the 100 block of mount Holly Avenue, Mount Holly, for shoplifting $300.28 in merchandise from Wegmans on Centerton Road. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DWI), 1:41 a.m. - Police arrested Tiana L. Randall, 31, of the unit block of Alderton Lane for driving while intoxicated, while driving on Farnwood Road. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

June 16

Theft, 3:15 p.m. - Credit cards were taken from a wallet of a purse belonging to a customer of Miller’s Ale House on Fellowship Road. The purse was on the floor next to the victim while she ate.

Theft, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Jewelry valued at an undetermined amount was taken from a victim while moving into a residence on the 1500 block of Steeplebush Terrace. There was no sign of forced entry.

Burglary, 4:50 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. - Approximately $450 in cash was taken from a residence on the 500 block of Charleston Court. Entry was gained by forcing open a rear window causing approximately $500 in damage.

Structure Fire, 9:20 p.m. - A fire occurred in the 5100 building of Adelaide Drive. Upon arrival of emergency services, the fire was observed coming through the roof, and the building was evacuated. No injuries were reported. The building was declared temporarily uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

June 17

Arrest (DWI), 12:11 a.m. Police arrested Christine M.Drinkard, 23, of the unit block of Red Hill Court for driving while intoxicated. She was involved in a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Moorfield Court. She was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Criminal Mischief, 8 p.m - A resident of the 100 block of Pebblebrook Lane reported the aluminum retention straps to a fence broken. Damage is estimate at $200.
