Police Make Arrests for Drugs, Shoplifting

Oct. 8

  • Arshad Mehmood, 34, of Baker Boulevard, Marlton, arrested after police said he tried to conceal $254.49 of merchandise from Boscov’s at the Moorestown Mall. He was released on a summons.

Oct. 9

  • William Clifford, 25, of Stiles Avenue, Maple Shade, arrested after police responded to a suspicious person call on South Lenola Road and found Clifford in possession of Subutex tablets and a hypodermic needle, according to a report. He was subsequently charged and committed to Burlington County Jail on $11,000 bail.

Oct. 10

  • Markita Richardson, 19, of Wharton Road, Mount Laurel, arrested for shoplifting after police said she stuffed $61.99 worth of clothing from Boscov’s in her handbag. She was released on a summons.

Oct. 11

  • Anne McNicholas, 57, Brighton Street, Philadelphia, arrested for shoplifting after she concealed $59 worth of clothing from Lord & Taylor in her handbag, according to police. She was released on a summons.
