Police Make Arrests for Forged Check, Shoplifting

Oct. 19

  • Crystal Wood, 30, of Church Street, Beverly, charged with obstruction after police said she left the scene of a motor vehicle stop before being issued a summons and having her paperwork returned. She was released on a special complaint summons.

Oct. 21

  • Joan Toanone, 65, of Oakland Avenue, Audobon, and Thomas Harrison, 63, of Washington Street, Collingswood, arrested for shoplifting from Boscov’s at the Moorestown Mall, according to police. Toanone allegedly concealed $90 worth of Christmas decorations, while Harrison concealed a battery-operated candle and holder valued at $39.98, according to a report. Both were released on a summons.

  • Darryl Harris, 48, of Genese Lane, Willingboro, arrested after police said he tried to cash a forged/fraudulent check at PNC Bank and then stole a cell phone from an office desk at the bank. Harris was charged with forgery, theft and attempted theft by deception.
