Police: Mt. Laurel Man Crashes, Flips Car in DUI

Moorestown Police brought multiple charges against the driver, who was taken to Cooper University Hospital for his injuries.

Centerton Road was closed briefly Tuesday morning after a Mount Laurel man veered off the road near the Comcast building and flipped his car, police said.

The crash occurred just before 10 a.m., near the intersection with Country Club Drive. Moorestown Police say Edward Rahn, 34, of the unit block of Compass Circle, was driving south on Centerton Road when he left the road and went up an embankment. His 2008 Honda Accord cartwheeled once and ended up on its roof.

Rahn had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with unspecified injuries, police said. He will be charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving.
