Police Nab 3 for Drugs at Township Hotel

Also, Mount Laurel Police arrest a pair from PA on prostitution charges.

Dec. 21

Theft (Birchfield) — Someone stole all the tires and rims off a Mazda CX-9 on the unit block of West Azalea Lane between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and 6 a.m. Dec. 21, police said.

Theft — Police said someone stole an inflatable Christmas decoration, valued at $250, from the front lawn of a home on Orchard Way sometime between Dec. 20 and 21.

Criminal mischief — Someone spray-painted graffiti on the Mount Laurel Municipal Utilities Authority building at 81 Elbo Lane sometime between Dec. 20 and 21, causing an estimated $500 damage, according to police.

Arrest (prostitution/drug possession), 1 p.m. — Police arrested Susan C. Vergagni, 47, of Marlton, during a prostitution investigation at a hotel on the 600 block of Fellowship Road, according to a report. She was charged with engaging in prostitution, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending a court hearing.

Arrest (prostitution/drug possession), 3:30 p.m. — Police arrested Scott F. Goldstrohm, 58, of Harleysville, PA, and Elizabeth A. Cook, 32, of Philadelphia, during a prostitution investigation at a hotel on the 600 block of Fellowship Road, according to a report. Goldstrohm was charged with promoting prostitution and illegal possession of prescription medication and Cook was charged with engaging in prostitution. Both were released pending a court hearing.

Dec. 21

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 10 p.m. — Police arrested Seth Owens, 26, of Newfield, NJ, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73. He was charged with possession of marijuana and released pending a court hearing, according to a report.

Dec. 22

Arrest (DWI), 1:45 a.m. — Police arrested Marquette Jackson, 39, of Westville, NJ, after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73, according to a report. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

Attempted burglary/criminal mischief (Le Club I) — Someone tried to force their way into a vacant residence on the unit block of Bradford Court, according to police, causing damage to a sliding glass door. The would-be burglar did not gain entry.

Dec. 23

Burglary/criminal mischief (Holiday Village East) — A burglar forced their way into a vacant home on the 300 block of Moonseed Place sometime between Dec. 17 and 23, causing damage to a side window, police said. It is unknown if anything was taken from the residence.

Arrest (DWI), 3:20 a.m. — Police arrested Ryan T. Kling, 26, of Hainesport, NJ, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Ursinia Court. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing, according to a report.

Arrest (drug possession), 2:35 p.m. — During a disorderly person investigation at a hotel on the 600 block of Fellowship Road, police arrested three men: Jeremiah L. Carstarphen, 19, of Camden; Raymond D. Harvey, 23, of Westville, NJ; and Keyosha N. Hornsby, 25, of Camden. Police said Carstarphen was charged with possession of marijuana and turned over to Cherry Hill Police for outstanding warrants. Harvey was charged with possession of marijuana and committed to Burlington County Jail for outstanding warrants out of Hammonton, NJ. And Hornsby was charged with illegal possession of prescription medication and committed to Burlington County Jail for outstanding warrants out of Camden County.

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 11:15 p.m. — Police arrested Elidio Aviles, 30, of Camden, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73. According to police, Aviles was wanted on outstanding warrants out of Camden County. He was also found in possession of marijuana. Aviles was charged and released after posting bail on the warrants.

Dec. 24

Criminal mischief (Madison Place), 2-3 p.m. — Someone scratched a 2002 Toyota Camry parked on the 2700 block of Saxony Drive, causing an estimated $200 damage, police said.

Attempted burglary/criminal mischief (Stone Gate), 5:40 p.m. — Someone tried to force their way into a home on the unit block of Kirby Way, causing damage to a sliding glass door, according to police.

Burglary/theft (Ramblewood Farms), 2-8 p.m. — Police said a burglar forced open the rear window of a home on the 600 block of Grant Road and stole jewelry and cash.

Dec. 25

Burglary/theft (Holiday Village East), 1:30-7 p.m. — Someone forced open the rear window of a home on the 100 block of Indigo Drive and stole jewelry and prescription medication, according to police.
