Police: Pair Robbed at Gunpoint in Tree House

Moorestown Police are looking for the public's help in identifying three men who robbed two young people late Monday night.

Two young people were robbed at gunpoint in a tree house behind a Moorestown home late Monday night, according to police.

said a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were sleeping in the tree house—in back of a residence on the 100 block of Cottage Avenue—just before midnight when they awoke to find three men, one armed with a handgun, in the tree house with them.

The man with the gun ordered the victims to hand over everything they had. The male victim surrendered his iPhone and about $180 in cash, police said in a report Friday. The suspects then left on foot.

Police say the victims were unable to provide an accurate description of the suspects because it was very dark.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Moorestown Police at 856-914-3092 and reference case #2012-6258.
