Police: Suspect Charged in Year-Old Armed Robbery

Maple Shade Police say they've solved the knifepoint robbery that occurred at a Main Street secondhand store more than a year ago.

Maple Shade Police have arrested a suspect in the armed robbery of a Main Street store that occurred more than a year ago.

According to police, on Dec. 16, 2011, . Though no one was injured, police said the crime reverberated throughout the Main Street business community and remained a priority for the department.

Earlier this month, police charged Carlos Cintron Jr., 34, of Pennsauken, with the robbery and imposed $50,000 bail on him, according to a report. Cintron was already incarcerated at Gloucester County Jail on other charges when Maple Shade Police served him with the new charges.
