Police: Teen Shoplifted Liquor, Attacked Clerk

Mount Laurel Police say the 16-year-old juvenile had cocaine and PCP. They also arrested a Moorestown man for shoplifting.

Oct. 6

Theft — Someone stole 10 baseball gloves, worth $2,361, from Dick’s Sporting Goods on Nixon Drive, according to police. The theft occurred between 9 a.m. Oct. 5 and 9 a.m. Oct. 6.

Nov. 16

Theft from vehicle 12:01-6:30 a.m. — Police said someone smashed the window of a vehicle parked on the 3100 block of Route 38 and stole $390 worth of clothing and electronics. Damage is estimated at $200.

Theft, 12:01 a.m. to 12:01 p.m. — Lawn decorations, valued at $450, were stolen from outside a home on the 200 block of Creek Road, according to police.

Stolen vehicle — Police said someone stole a 2008 Yamaha R6S motorcycle, valued at $9,000, from the 400 block of Saxony Drive between 10 p.m. Nov. 14 and 8 a.m. Nov. 16.

Nov. 17

Theft — Tools worth $3,500 were stolen from a locked trailer on the 100 block of Gaither Drive sometime between 5 p.m. Nov. 16 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 17, according to police. The thief disabled a lock to gain access to the trailer.

Fraud, 3:30 p.m. — A gas thief pumped $15 worth of gas without paying for it, then drove off with the nozzle still attached to the vehicle at the Shell station on the 3000 block of Route 38, according to police. Damage is estimated at $200. The vehicle was described as a dark gray truck.

Juvenile arrest (robbery) — Police arrested a 16-year-old Southampton boy who was allegedly caught shoplifting alcohol from Laurel Liquors on Route 38. The juvenile assaulted a store employee and was subsequently found in possession of cocaine and PCP, according to police. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and shoplifting. The juvenile was released to his parents pending a hearing.

Nov. 18

Arrest (fraudulent inspection sticker) — Police arrested Trevor M. Terrell, 18, of the 700 block of Ralston Drive, for having a fraudulent inspection sticker displayed on his vehicle after he was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Route 38, according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Raymond M. Cordle, 24, of North Lenola Road, Moorestown, for shoplifting $50 in merchandise from the Play N Trade on Centerton Road on Oct. 31, according to a report. He was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
