Police: Thief Steals $7,500 Worth of Jewelry
Also, Maple Shade Police arrest a man who allegedly tried to walk away with $1,900 worth of Lowe's merchandise
Oct. 25
Theft, 10:04 a.m. — Someone stole landscaping tools from the bed of a truck parked on the 300 block of Cedar Avenue: a $400 Redmax edger, a $400 Redmax trimmer and a $600 Redmax blower. Police said the items were stolen between 5-10 a.m. and were not secured in the bed of the truck.

Burglary, 8:08 a.m. — Police said someone broke into vacant apartments under rehabilitation on Dogwood Court by prying open windows and sliding doors and stole the following items: eight Moen Chateau faucets (worth $50 each), eight Moen shower diverters (worth $75 each), 30 feet of 1 ¼-inch copper pipe (worth $600) and miscellaneous plumbing fittings (worth approximately $100).
Nov. 2
Arrest (shoplifting), 3:53 p.m. — Police arrested Ronald T. White, 37, of Camden, for trying to leave Lowe’s with $1,910 worth of unpaid merchandise in his cart, according to a report. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail.
Nov. 4
Theft, 1:36 p.m. — Someone stole a $2,500 solid gold Movado watch and a $5,000 heart-shaped diamond ring from a home on the 100 block of County Avenue while the resident was in the hospital, police said.
