Police: Woman's Nude Photos End Up Online

Also, an alleged drunken driver backs into a cop car and a burglar makes off with $100,000 in cash and jewelry.

May 18

Arrest (DWI), 1:03 p.m. — Police arrested Stephen G. Protich, 58, of the unit block of Clements Bridge Road, Barrington, after he crashed into a parked vehicle and then backed into a police vehicle in the ShopRite parking lot on Nixon Drive, according to a report. Protich was transported to Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill for treatment of minor injuries and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Arrest (DWI), 1:03 p.m. — Police arrested Michael J. Arnoldy, 19, of the 2900 block of Aramingo Avenue, Philadelphia, during the investigation of a motor vehicle collision on Church Street at Country Lane. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana under 50 grams, police said. He was served with complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

May 19

Arrest (hindering), 11:33 a.m. — Police arrested Michael J. Alvarez, 26, and Brandon Alvarez, 18, both of the 100 block of Hastings Place, Cinnaminson, and Donny J. Miguel, 25, of the 1900 block of Graydon Avenue, Cherry Hill, after police stopped their vehicle for a motor vehicle violation on Sarah Court, according to a report. All three men lied about the true identity of Michael Alvarez. They were served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.  

Arrest (DWI), 10:12 p.m. — Police arrested William J. Martel, 47, of the 200 block of Saint David Drive, during an investigation into a motor vehicle collision on Route 73 and Church Rd. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

May 20

Theft (Brittany Commons), 2:40 p.m. — Police said a man stole a beach bag from the 2800 block of Auburn Court after it was momentarily left unattended outside a residence. The resident saw the man run from the property holding the bag. The bag and its contents were valued at approximately at $300.

Theft, 4:24 p.m. — Police are looking for a man they say stole $300 worth of merchandise from the ShopRite on Nixon Drive. The suspect is described as a bald, light-skinned black man in his 40s, about 6 feet tall, 195 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants, police said.

May 21

Criminal mischief — Someone spray-painted graffiti on the side of a building on the first block of Elbo Lane and a building on the 1000 block of Birchfield Court sometime between 8 p.m. May 20 and 7:30 a.m. May 21, police said.

Criminal mischief — Someone threw a rock through the window of an office building at 210 Ark Road sometime between 7 p.m. May 18 and 3 p.m. May 21, causing approximately $500 in damage, according to police.

May 22

Burglary (Fellowship) — Police said a burglar broke into a detached garage on the unit block of Oregon Avenue and stole an ATV valued at $5,000. The theft occurred between 1 p.m. May 21 and 3 p.m. May 22.

Burglary (Brettonwood), 4:20 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. — A burglar forced open a door to a residence on the unit block of Wembley Drive and stole $100,000 worth of cash and jewelry, according to police.

Counterfeit currency, 10:30 p.m. — Someone paid for gas with a counterfeit $20 bill at the Exxon on Centerton Road, police said.

May 23

Arrest (DWI), 2:26 a.m. — Police arrested Robert Everingham, 64, of the unit block of Alyce Lane, Voorhees, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

May 24

Theft, 1:05 p.m. — Two textbooks, valued at roughly $260, were stolen from the Burlington County College campus bookstore, according to police.

Arrest (DWI), 8:08 a.m. — Police arrested Joshua E. Melilli, 24, of the first block of Cattail Drive, during the investigation of a single vehicle accident on Hainesport Road. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing, according to a report.

Invasion of privacy — A 22-year-old woman told police someone fraudulently created an account using her name on the photo-sharing website Instagram.com and then posted nude pictures of her on the site. The victim told police she had taken the pictures of herself a few years ago and sent them to several of her friends.
