Prostitution Arrests at Mt. Laurel Hotel

A man and woman from New York were arrested last week, according to Mount Laurel Police.

A man and woman were arrested for prostitution at a Mount Laurel hotel last week, according to police. 

Mount Laurel Police arrested Sharon L. Cowin, 27, of the 700 block of Columbia Street, Hudson, NY, and Rahkeim K. Scarlett, 31, of the unit block of 105th Street, Troy, NY, at a hotel on the 600 block of Fellowship Road Wednesday afternoon. According to a report, Cowin was charged with engaging in prostitution and Scarlett was charged with promoting prostitution.

Cowin was committed to the Burlington County Minimum Security Facility on $3,500 bail, while Scarlett was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $6,500 bail, police said.
