Rancocas Creek Begins Receding Saturday Following Mid-Week Flooding

The creek crested on Friday morning and fell below flood levels Saturday afternoon.

After an onslaught of rain hit southern New Jersey on Wednesday on Thursday, runoff from Rancocas Creek led to flooding in parts of Burlington County.

The creek finally began to recede late Saturday afternoon, the Burlington County Times reports. The creek crested Friday morning.

Homes and vehicles in Mount Holly and Lumberton suffered mostly minor damage.
