Santa to Visit Cinnaminson Christmas Eve

Look for the man of the hour in your neighborhood.

Keep your ears open this Christmas Eve because the big man himself will be in neighborhoods in Cinnaminson, escorted by the .

For the last three decades, Santa Claus leaves the North Pole and has his elves fill his sleigh for him Christmas Eve evening while he visits kids around Cinnaminson.

“It’s just amazing,” said Fire Chief Bill Kramer of seeing the kids when they see Santa Claus. “You just get these memories burned into your brain.”

Kramer remembers about 20 years ago, seeing one little girl “screaming at the top of her lungs” as Santa came down the street.

“She ran over to him, grabbed his leg,” he remembers. “It was just unbelievable.”

Santa and his helpers will be making their rounds starting late afternoon and going into the night Christmas Eve. Take a peek outside your window to catch a glimpse.

My children, nieces and nephews have the most wonderful memories of Santa arriving at our house in a firetruck. These men and women give up their Christmas eves with their own families to give the children of Cinnaminson Township this experience. I want to thank you for doing this year after year. You are truly Santa's helpers and the best kind of people. Merry Christmas!

I remember Santa driving down my street when I was little, you knew he was coming when you heard the fire engines. A few years back, Santa hopped off the fire truck to run up to our house and give my little girls a candy cane. It was awesome. I hope he continues to visit!
