UPDATE: Six Taken to Hospital After Head-On Crash

Moorestown Police responded to a two-car collision on Kings Highway early Sunday afternoon.

UPDATE: Helen Sexton, Douglas Martin, Bobby Raczkowski Jr. and Mary Guarneri were all listed in stable condition at Cooper University Hospital as of Monday morning, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Richard Sexton was released yesterday.

Since he is a minor, no information was available regarding Guarneri's son.

Guarneri, originally taken to Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill following the crash Sunday, had been transferred to Cooper.

Several people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash at the intersection of Kings Highway and Pinehurst Lane early Sunday afternoon.

said Mary G. Guarneri, 23, of Medford, was heading west on Kings Highway around 12:38 p.m. Sunday when she entered the eastbound lane at the intersection with Pinehurst and collided head-on with a Buick Lacrosse driven by Richard J. Sexton, 82, Cherry Hill.

Sexton and his wife, Helen, 82, were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, as were two of Guarneri’s passengers, Douglas P. Martin, 23, Moorestown, and Bobby T. Raczkowski Jr., 27, Hainesport, police said.

Guarneri and her 19-month-old son, who was also a passenger in her vehicle, were taken to Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill.

Police did not have information on the nature of any of their injuries.

Kings Highway was closed for an hour and a half following the accident. Moorestown Fire Department and emergency squad units from Moorestown, Lenola and Maple Shade, along with Moorestown Police, responded to the scene.

Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is urged to contact the traffic safety unit at 856-914-3045.
