Thieves Swipe Bag of Cash in NYE Strong-Arm Robbery: Police

Mount Laurel Police are asking for the public's help tracking down two suspects.

A Saybrook Estates resident was attacked and robbed of a bag filled with cash by two masked men outside his home New Year’s Eve, according to police.

Mount Laurel Police said the victim was exiting his car after parking it in the garage when two men, wearing all black, assaulted him and an associate around 10:30 p.m. During the assault, the suspects grabbed a bag containing cash—proceeds from the victim’s business—from his car.

The suspects were seen leaving the scene in an older model red minivan, heading toward Walton Avenue, according to police.

The victims sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
