Three Charged With Attempting to Steal Over $2,000 in Polo Shirts

Two Philadelphia residents and a New Jersey native attempted to take 27 polo shirts from Macy's at the Moorestown Mall.

Three individuals were charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to take over $2,000 worth of polo shirts, according to Moorestown Police.

Those charged included: Andrew Salvadore, 21, of Philadelphia; Denice Rice, 47, of Philadelphia; and Demetrius Nelson, 36, of Mount Royal, New Jersey.

They were charged on Feb. 8 with shoplifting from Macy’s in the Moorestown Mall. They were charged with attempting to steal 27 polo shirts in two shopping bags. The total value of the shirts was $2,476.

Nelson posted $1,000 bail and was released. Rice and Salvadore were both committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $2,500 bail each.
