Tip: Stay Put When Police Pull You Over

Mount Laurel Police say a township man got in trouble for not heeding that advice. Also, a township teen was arrested for pot possession and two cars were stripped of all four wheels.

March 26/27

Attempted burglary/criminal mischief — A resident of the 100 block of Leeds Roads discovered pry marks on the rear sliding door of their residence, police said. The would-be burglar was unable to break into the home, but damage was estimated at $1,100. The incident occurred sometime during the daytime hours on March 26 or 27.

March 28

Theft, 11:40 a.m. to 2 p.m. — A thief stole an Apple iPad 2, with a leather case, from an unlocked vehicle parked in the lot of 15000 Midlantic Drive, police said. The total value of the items stolen is $540.

March 29

Arrest (DWI), 3:18 a.m. — Police arrested Dominic Juliano, 18, of the 400 block of Hartford Road, Mount Laurel, for driving while intoxicated after he was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Hartford Road, according to a report. He was charged with DWI and obstruction of justice and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DWI), 6:58 p.m. — Police arrested George B. Lee, 54, of the unit block of Woodlark Drive, Mount Laurel, for driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Woodlark Drive, according to a report. Lee was charged with DWI and related motor vehicle offenses and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 7:50 p.m. — Police arrested Kristine Coleman, 21, of the 300 block of Davenport Avenue, Hainesport, after she was stopped on Route 38 for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. She was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coleman was served with criminal and motor vehicle complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 10:01 p.m. — Police arrested a 17-year-old Mount Laurel resident for possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report. The juvenile was located on Abington Road while police were investigating a report of suspicious activity. The teen was released to their parents pending a hearing in juvenile court.

March 31

Arrest (DWI), 2:47 a.m. — Police arrested Justin P. Miller, 27, of the 100 block of Rambling Road, Lumberton, after he was found with his disabled vehicle on Route 38, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (DWI), 4:10 a.m. — Police arrested Audrey Tresfgar, 22, of the unit block of Diston Court, Mount Laurel, after she was stopped for motor vehicle violations on South Church Street, according to a report. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and related motor vehicle offenses and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Theft (Le Club), 4:15-5:15 a.m. — A thief stole more than $1,000 worth of items—two gold rings valued at $500 each, $250 cash and prescription medication worth $50—from an unlocked vehicle parked on Everly Court, according to police.

Theft, 6:01 a.m. — A woman requested $5 worth of gas at the Wawa on Route 73, then drove off in her silver Toyota without paying, according to a report. She was last seen driving north on Route 73.

Theft, 4:30-5 p.m. — Someone stole a $500 iPhone 5 after it was accidentally left unattended by a sink in the women’s bathroom at the Funplex on Route 38, police said.

Shoplifting, 10:56 p.m. — Police said an unidentified black man wearing a black coat stole an electronic cigarette, valued at $10, from a display in the store at the Lukoil station on Route 73.

April 1

Theft (Ramblewood Village Apartments) — The wheels are tires were stolen off two separate vehicles parked on Country Club Parkway sometime overnight March 31 into April 1, according to police. One of the vehicles was a 2008 Honda Accord, and the other was a 2011 Honda Fit. The wheels/tires stolen off the Accord were valued at $1,000, while the wheels/tires stolen off the Fit were valued at $1,400, police said.

Arrest (obstruction), 4:58 p.m. — Police arrested Gregory J. Thompson, 32, of the 400 block of Aster Place, Mount Laurel, when he tried to walk away, against orders from officers, during a stop for motor vehicle violations, according to a report. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Cecilia N. Kommeh, 22, of the 2100 block of Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY, for shoplifting $65.53 worth of merchandise from the ShopRite on Nixon Drive, according to a report. She was released pending a municipal court hearing.
