TV Shoplifter Got Pushy with Loss Prevention: Police

Moorestown Police arrested a Maple Shade man this week after he tried to steal two TVs and shoved a loss prevention officer.

A Maple Shade man attempted to steal two TVs from the Moorestown Mall Monday, then shoved a loss prevention officer who tried to stop him, police said.

According to Moorestown Police, Sean Turzanski, 29, of East Woodlawn Avenue, was in the process of shoplifting two TVs—total value $719.98—from Sears, when he was stopped by a loss prevention officer. Turzanski allegedly shoved the officer in the chest.

Turzanski was arrested and charged with one count of robbery and three counts of shoplifting, including offenses which took place on Nov. 25 and Dec. 2, in which police said he stole even more TVs.

He was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
