Two from Moorestown Charged with Pot Possession, Police Say

Also, Mount Laurel Police arrested a township woman for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

Feb. 6

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 11:08 a.m. — Police arrested Dannita  L. Ancrum, 23, of the 100 block of Carleton Lane, after she was stopped on Masonville Road for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. She was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (trespassing) — Police arrested Jeffrey G. Masters, 23, of the unit block of Baker Boulevard, Marlton, and Angel Contreras, 23, of the 2200 block of Scovel Avenue, Pennsauken, for trespassing at the American Tower property on Mount Laurel Road, according to a report. They were both served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Feb. 7

Arrest (possession of marijuana), 1:08 a.m. — Police arrested Michael Wilcox, 20, of the unit block of Palmer Drive, Moorestown, and James D. White, 19, of the 100 block of Center Street, Moorestown, for possession of marijuana, according to a report. They were found by police during a suspicious vehicle investigation on Centerton Road. Both were charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Kristen M. Hoyte, 26, of the 3200 block of Broad Street, Port Henry, NY, for shoplifting $231 in merchandise from Ulta on Nixon Drive, according to a report. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
