The driver of one of the vehicles was in critical but stable condition Friday.

Two people were injured in a two-car crash in Mount Laurel Wednesday afternoon.

Mount Laurel Police said Paul Michelfelder, 55, of the first block of Saddle Drive, Mount Laurel, was driving west on Hainesport-Mount Laurel Road near the intersection at Saddle Drive when he collided with a Hyundai Elantra— driven by Dawn Armstrong, 47, of the 200 block of Union Avenue, Delanco—heading east around 4:41 p.m.

Michelfelder was flown to Cooper University Hospital, where he was in critical but stable condition Friday afternoon.

Armstrong was also taken to Cooper by Mount Laurel EMS, police said, but was no longer in the hospital’s patient list Friday.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Mount Laurel Police Traffic Bureau, according to a report.

Anyone with additional information regarding the collision is asked to contact the Traffic Bureau at 856-234-1414, ext. 565.
