Two Women Injured in Mount Laurel Crash

Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.

Two women were taken to the hospital after a serious car accident in Mount Laurel Tuesday morning.

Lily A Caselton, 93, of the 600 block of South Cascade Drive, Mount Laurel, was driving north on Church Street just before noon when her Hyundai Accent rear-ended Janet T. Polidora, 57, of the first block of Woodlake Drive, Marlton, who was waiting to turn onto Cobblestone Drive, police said.

Polidora was taken to Virtua Hospital in Marlton by Mount Laurel EMS. Caselton was airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center.

The specific nature of their injuries was not provided by police.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the Mount Laurel Police Traffic Bureau.  Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Traffic Bureau at 856-234-1414, ext. 1565.
