Willingboro Man Charged With Knifepoint Robbery at Moorestown Mall

Marcell T. Spears, 33, lured his victim to the mall after posting a Craigslist ad offering a new iPhone 5c for $275.

A Willingboro man has been charged in connection with a knifepoint robbery at the Moorestown Mall on July 1, Moorestown Police announced Friday morning.

Marcell T. Spears, 33, was charged with first degree robbery, third degree terroristic threats, third degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth degree possession of weapons.

Spears allegedly lured a Gibbsboro man to the Moorestown Mall after posting an ad on Craigslist offering a new iPhone 5c for $275.

When the victim arrived, Spears allegedly demanded money at knifepoint. The victim escaped without injury and without losing his money.

He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
