Burlington County's Joe Donnelly Named Freeholder of the Year

He will receive his award from the New Jersey Conference of Mayors May 1.

Burlington County Freeholder and former Cinnaminson Mayor Joe Donnelly has been named "Freeholder of the Year," the Cinnaminson Sun reports.

Donnelly received the distinction from the New Jersey Conference of Mayors and will receive his award at the conference's meeting on May 1, according to the report.

Donnelly is a former Riverton Borough Council member, and was a member of Cinnaminson Township Committee before serving as mayor, according to the Burlington County Republican Party's website.

He served as Freeholder Director in 2013.

He helped spearhead a $100 million redevelopment project on Route 130 in Cinnaminson. The project included new commercial and residential development, and major highway improvements.
