Moorestown Council to Hold First Meeting in New Town Hall Monday Night

The budget process continues Monday night.

Moorestown Council will christen the new town hall at 111 West Second Street with its first meeting in the new building Monday night, 7:30 p.m.

The only ordinance scheduled for second reading is the consideration of an ordinance to exceed the municipal budget appropriation limits and establish a cap bank, a standard procedure municipalities take during the budget approval process.

The municipal budget was introduced at the April 28 meeting. Second reading is scheduled for June 9.

Seven items are on the consent agenda, including the approval of a $59,479.97 bill for various fees for preparation of the new municipal court at 1245 North Church Street.
