Moorestown Residents Can Now Pay Taxes, Utility Bills Online

Residents can use their credit cards or checking account information via the township's encrypted website.

As of Tuesday, Moorestown residents had the option of paying their taxes and their utility bills online.

Residents can use their credit cards or checking account information via the township’s encrypted website.

Once on the webpage, residents can search their account information by searching for the last name of the homeowner, the property address, the block/lot number, or the tax or utility account number.

After finding the information, the resident can select the "Make a Payment" button and follow the payment wizard to enter the e-check or credit card data.

At this time, e-check and credit card payments are only accepted online, credit cards and e-check payments cannot be made in-person at the Township office. All ACH, e-check and credit card transactions are charged a convenience fee of $1.05 per ACH or e-check transaction and 2.95 percent of the total bill for all credit card transactions.

These fees are assessed, collected and retained by the third party electronic transaction provider for the convenience of providing online payment services. These fees are not a revenue source for the Township.

Residents can now also receive water/sewer bills via email. To make the switch, residents should send an email to ebill@moorestown.nj.us and be sure to include their name, utility account number, physical address, and the email address to be used for electronic billing.

In most cases, updates are made during the billing cycle and once the switch is made, residents will no longer receive a bill by traditional mail.

For more information, contact the Moorestown Tax Collector's Office at (856) 235-0912, Option 1, and then Option 1 for Tax Collections.

The township has ensured that its website and payment system meets all PCI compliance standards and is encrypted using SSL and RSA 2048 bit encryption.
