Moorestown Residents Nominated, Appointed to Government Positions

Residents were named to the Burlington County Board of Elections, the South Jersey Port Corporation and the New Jersey Advisory Commission on the Status of Women.

Three Moorestown residents were nominated to positions with government agencies throughout the state, Gov. Chris Christie announced on Tuesday.

Robin Sakina Mama, of Moorestown, was re-nominated to the New Jersey Advisory Commission on the Status of Women,  an 11-member committee that makes recommendations to the New Jersey Division on Women about programs and policies.

Frank Giordano, of Moorestown, was nominated to the South Jersey Port Corporation as a public member in Subdistrict 3. The corporation oversees southern New Jersey's international seaports.
