The proposed budget was $23,387,234, with $15,941,729 to be raised through taxation. No tax rate increase was proposed.
Following introduction, the public hearing for the budget is set for June 9 in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 111 West Second Street.
Council will also consider a resolution that would establish a tax levy for the Moorestown Open Space, Recreation and Farmland and Historic Preservation Trust Fund Program.
are also 14 items on the council’s consent agenda, including a proposal to
enter into a joint purchasing agreement for the collection and disposal of
trash from apartment and condominium complexes, as well as a separate contract
to cover solid waste collection and bulk collection.
Council will also vote on a resolution authorizing reconstruction on Magnolia Court and Spruce Avenue in the amount of $319,835.
There are no ordinances up for second reading.
