Sanitation Meeting Moved to Wednesday

The special meeting to meet representatives from Casworth Enterprises takes place this Wednesday instead of next Monday.

A special meeting in which Moorestown residents have the opportunity to meet Frank Holzworth, of Casworth Enterprises, has been rescheduled.

The meeting was originally scheduled for March 24, but due to scheduling conflicts, the meeting will has been moved up to this week.

It now takes place Wednesday, March 19, in the IT room at Moorestown High School, the township announced Monday morning. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

In two days, residents have the opportunity to voice their opinions on the issue of outsourcing trash collection. In the meantime, join the conversation on Patch by participating in our poll.

I disagree. Mr noo.you do not have facts and actual figures At this point in time it would be impossible because the new trash company hasn't started. Projected perhaps but not facts.

Speaking of facts....My trash is picked up on time and with no problems. Fact 2: The non union company can get the job done at less cost to taxpayers.

Yes the trash is being pick up on time as usual. Our men are still picking up. The non union company may save money, but the township probably won't . Just because a position has been budgeted for does not mean the money was not spent on something else. We are keeping all the employees or so it has been said, and all the trucks plus we've added an outside company. The outside company picks up trash. End of story. The fees, taxes and disposal costs are still paid for by the township. Must be that new math. New math plus political double speak equals more taxes for all to pay. No one knows if it will save money, but it sure sounds good. What is that saying....if it sounds too good to be true....just saying
